Spring is here and flowers are blooming everywhere

Spring is here and flowers are blooming everywhere, even in clothes and accessories.

These flowers act as more of a statement detail than a romantic touch.

Knit and Crochet flowers are quick, simple to make, and lovely always.

 I like to sew flowers on hats, headbands and bags

.

 Sometimes I make them into a brooch, using a french barrette,

 instead of sewing them on a headband.

  For making them we need  very little yarn,

 and it is a great way to use the beautiful scraps that we always have!
