Skinny Scarves

Skinny Scarves

A long skinny scarf is a versatile fashion accessory.
Quickly add color and texture to any outfit from casual to formal
by wearing a long skinny scarf around the neck or waist,
in your hair or in place of jewelry.
Add one to any outfit for an easy dose of trendiness.
Select a long skinny scarf that works with your outfit.
Choose complementary colors that match or contrast.

You can use it in very different ways
and can combine two in contrasting colors.

1
Fold the scarf in half and place the middle in your neck. Then bring both sides around to the front.
Take the side with the two ends and weave it through the folded opening on the other side,
pulling the ends through.

2
Pull the scarf through the belt loops of jeans or pants,
tying it in a knot and leaving the ends hanging down your side
or in front for a chic belt.

 3
Wear a long scarf as jewelry.
Wind a jeweled scarf around your neck and tie in a knot or secure it with a pretty pin.
Or wrap it around your wrist and tuck in the ends to make a unique bracelet.

4
Try wearing a long skinny scarf around your wrist in a bracelet look.
Wrap the scarf all the way around your wrist to form a two-to-three inch band.
Tuck the end of the scarf on the underside of your wrist.
 5
Tie your hair into a ponytail, secured with an elastic band.
Wind the scarf around the elastic several times,
and then let the ends hang down with your hair
or weave it through your ponytail.
